M65Connect allows you to quickly and easily interact with the MEGA65 in many different ways. Most actions are available as soon as you're properly connected to the MEGA65.

GUI Overview

After start you will see the main screen of M65Connect:

Open

Most items offer a tooltip while moving the mouse pointer over it.

Quick access buttons

In the upper area of the main screen you see a list of the most used functions represented by quick access buttons. The buttons on the left side cover file operations while the buttons on the right side offers MEGA65 commands. You will find all these functions also in the menu.

Console area

The console area covers the major area of the main screen and shows the result of your actions. It is used to either display error messages caused by operations or showing you results from terminal commands. Some operations will automatically clear the console window but you can manually clean it by clicking on the trashcan in the upper right corner. The displayed content of the Console window is not editable but you can copy or save its content.

Command line

Here you can interact with the MEGA65 via PC keyboard. Simply type terminal commands or text in the command field.

Terminal/Keyboard switch

Right from the command field you can switch between Terminal mode (default) and Keyboard mode.

Status bar

The Status bar at the bottom of the main screen shows important system messages or the status of the last operation.
